10 Years of Job

This kind of just occurred to us... Did you know that this July marks the 10th Anniversary of our first CD Release?

For those who are unfamiliar with us or our work, we did a lot of theatre before we delved into film. Our first stage musical was Job and the Snake (which we've presented in places like Toronto, Los Angeles, and New York).

Job and the Snake is based on the classic story of Job; you know, the guy who suddenly loses everything (houses, finances, servants, kids) only to have his so-called friends accuse him.

Anyway, ten years ago (that'd be back in 1998), we decided to put together a CD of the music. The release coincided with performances in Toronto at the National Ballet School Theatre (Although, don't think that this is a ballet by any means; it's more like a rock musical in style).

We put some of the instrumental tracks online at our website so you can get a taste of what the music's all about.

Or, if you're interested in the CD itself... you can purchase one here.

(You know, we did at one time consider turning our musical Job and the Snake into a film. Maybe we'll still do it... one of these days.)

P.S. By the way: it's pronounced "Job" with a long O sound. Not job, as in what-you-do-for-a- living!
